About Other
Other materials in the MIRONOVA ART collection include textiles that operate outside conventional categories. They arise from experimentation, composite fibers, nontraditional processing, or hybrids of structure and tactility. These fabrics are not defined by their composition but by how they function within rhythm and space. In our work, we integrate other materials where the known ends and discovery begins. These are not decorative anomalies — they are compositional proposals. Sometimes formed from recycled strands, sometimes engineered to resist or respond, they are surfaces that exist to frame movement and change. At MIRONOVA ART, we do not rank material by origin. We observe how it builds. If a textile holds space, forms rhythm, and interacts without disrupting — it earns its place. Other materials allow for variation and nonlinearity, building toward systems that do not rely on classification. These textiles might be firm or fluid, raw or layered, visual or structural. But all are purposeful. They work across contrast, in support of silence, tension, or transparency. They ask rather than assert. In our practice, these materials are not exceptions but outcomes of creative expansion. They emerge when the artist seeks to feel the surface differently, when familiar tools no longer suffice. In these textiles, structure is not fixed — it evolves. Other materials allow us to read fabric as movement rather than form. They frame intention, not image. They offer variation, fragility, interruption — not decoration. We use them where precision coexists with openness, creating outcomes that defy repetition but encourage continuation.
