This page sets out the commission that M-ART (operated by NobleArts OÜ, Tallinn, Estonia) charges sellers — creators and dealers — on every sale made through the marketplace. By registering a seller account you accept these terms; they complement the Creator's and Dealer's Terms of Use.
Commission structure
The commission depends on the product category and on the type of seller.
| Product category | Creators | Dealers |
|---|---|---|
| Original art: paintings, sculpture, drawings, photography, graphic and digital art, mixed media, textile art, installations | 35% | 20% |
| Prints and printmaking editions | 25% | 25% |
| Furniture | 20% | 15% |
| Decor, lighting, home and bathroom accessories, bedding, dining | 15% | 15% |
How the commission is calculated
The commission is deducted from the final sale price of the order before any payment is transferred to the seller. If a promotional discount applies to the order, it is subtracted from the sale price first, and the commission is calculated on the discounted amount.
Payout terms
The seller's earnings, net of the commission, are transferred to the account specified by the seller within 14 days after the seller submits a withdrawal request, and only after the 14-day holding period for returns and refunds has passed.
Seller obligations
- List every item in the product category it belongs to — the category determines the commission rate.
- Follow the marketplace rules on pricing, discounts and other policies communicated by M-ART.
Changes to the commission structure
M-ART may change the commission structure, including the rates for specific categories. Changes are communicated to sellers in advance and apply to sales made after the effective date.
Account termination
If a seller closes their account, outstanding commission is settled under these terms; orders completed before the closure remain subject to the applicable commission.
Effective 24 September 2026.
