Igor Nekraha

Ihor Nekrakha is a Ukrainian painter born in 1998 in Kharkiv, whose artistic practice centers on landscape as a space of contemplation, silence, and focused experience. Early training was received at the Kharkiv Art College with a qualification in art education, followed by studies at the Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts, Faculty of Design, specializing in industrial design. This educational path shaped a sensitivity to structure, rhythm, and a concise visual language. Since 2013, participation in exhibitions has taken place in Ukraine and internationally. Human presence is absent from the paintings; instead, nature emerges as a self-sufficient realm free from intervention, where light, color, and atmosphere play a central role. Nuanced tonal transitions and texture construct a restrained, concentrated visuality in which landscape functions not as a depiction of place but as an act of inner contemplation. Works by Ihor Nekrakha are held in private collections in Ukraine, the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Greece.
