About

"Working with a landscape, I have the opportunity to put time on pause. The uniqueness of a specific point in time and space is the only thing that exists in reality. My task as an artist is to cut away everything redundant so that the viewer can feel the pure vibration of that moment."

Kostya Koposov is a Ukrainian artist and architect, known for "primitive realism." His work focuses on minimalist landscapes, merging architectural precision with emotional color purity. His key concept is the "triad" (space, time, point of view). Having participated in international projects like those at the UN, he represents contemporary Ukrainian art globally.
Kostya Koposov is a contemporary Ukrainian artist, architect, and designer whose work represents a sophisticated synthesis of structural thinking and emotional minimalism. A graduate of the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture, he translated the principles of architectural design into the language of painting, developing his original style known as "primitive realism." Koposov's landscapes are stripped of excessive visual noise; they focus on conveying the pure state of nature, the vibration of light, and silence. The artist masterfully uses color as a tool to create depth, where the sky and the earth become planes for meditation. His works are an attempt to put time on pause, capturing a moment in its primal purity. The artist's international recognition is solidified by his participation in the "UKRAINE EXISTS" project at the UN Headquarters and successful exhibitions in Switzerland and Germany.
