About

"For me, sculpture is a way to materialize the immaterial. I don't just create a figure; I search for the point where form meets emotion, where bronze stops being metal and becomes a breath. True beauty is not on the outside; it is in the gaze directed within oneself."

Volodymyr Tsisaryk is a leading Ukrainian sculptor and master of contemporary figurative plastic arts and monumentalism. His work combines classical perfection of form with conceptual depth. The author of iconic monuments that changed the face of Lviv, Tsisaryk masterfully works with bronze, exploring the metaphysics of the human body and emotions. His works are frozen energy, offering a "gaze from within."
Volodymyr Tsisaryk is a landmark Ukrainian sculptor whose name is inextricably linked to the visual style of modern Lviv. His method is based on a synthesis of classical academic education, notably from the Florence Academy of Art, and a bold experimental approach to contemporary figurative plastic arts. Tsisaryk is the creator of Lviv’s most famous monuments (to Sacher-Masoch, Picasso), transforming urban sculpture into a live tool of communication. However, the true depth of his talent is revealed in his chamber series, where the focus shifts to "The Gaze Within." The sculptor masterfully works with bronze, conveying the fine line between the physical tension of the body and the ephemerality of the human soul. His works explore strength, vulnerability, and metaphysical light. With his ability to imbue metal with intellectual tension, Tsisaryk represents Ukraine globally, from Dubai to Chengdu and London. Each sculpture is a dynamic story prompting profound reflection.
