About

"Bronze is a metal with a long memory. For me, every sculpture is a frozen melody or a forgotten dream that comes to life when light touches its surface. I don't just sculpt form; I search for the point where the weight of metal disappears, giving way to an emotion."

A prominent sculptor and master of chamber bronze plastic arts. His work is built on lyrical metaphors and allegories, where heavy metal acquires lightness and elegance. The artist's pieces are distinguished by filigree technique and philosophical depth, embodying images of dreamers and travelers. His sculptures are poetic reflections on the human soul, captured in eternal bronze.
Volodymyr Mykytenko is a recognized master of contemporary Ukrainian sculpture, whose name has become synonymous with elegance and profound lyricism in bronze. His artistic journey is marked by a decisive departure from monumental pathos toward chamber plastic arts, where the primary object is a person's inner state. Mykytenko creates a unique metaphorical universe inhabited by philosophers, musicians, dreamers, and mythological creatures. His signature style is a harmonious synthesis of the classical academic school and playful postmodern elements, where each subject resembles a refined literary novella. The sculptor masterfully commands complex casting and patination techniques, allowing him to transform heavy metal into a light, almost ephemeral matter. His works do not seek to dominate space; they invite the viewer to quiet contemplation and reflection on eternal values: love, solitude, the search for truth, and the poetry of everyday life.
