About

"For me, ceramics is not a craft, but a way of thinking. Clay has the incredible ability to be both plastic and monumental; it records the passage of time and the energy of a touch. I am interested in the moment of transformation, when a form begins to break down, revealing a new, profound aesthetic of imperfection."

A master of contemporary artistic ceramics and sculpture. His brand is built on the synthesis of ancient craft and modern conceptual form. Miroshnychenko creates unique objects that resemble organic structures, fossils, or cosmic bodies. His work is characterized by complex textures, experimental glazes, and a deep understanding of clay as a living material that records the passage of time.
Oleksandr Miroshnychenko is a prominent figure in contemporary Ukrainian ceramic sculpture. Beginning his career in 2003 at KSADA, he evolved from Japanese aesthetics to complex conceptual objects. His philosophy focuses on the flow of time, imperfection, and the transformation of personality. In key series like "Heads," he explores the destruction of a cohesive image and its transition into landscape forms. Miroshnychenko uses clay as a living medium to capture intellectual and social processes. Since 2019, he has been a member of the International Academy of Ceramics (AIC-IAC) in Geneva, solidifying his global standing. Awarded in Japan and Spain, his work synthesizes technological mastery with contemporary artistic expression, making him a central figure in the history of modern Ukrainian sculpture and craft. His pieces are held in prominent museums and private collections worldwide, representing the cutting edge of contemporary ceramic art.
