About

"Forward and upward is not just a slogan; it is an inner movement without which art is impossible. For me, there are no barriers between the volume of sculpture and the plane of painting; they are different ways to tell the same story about energy and the metamorphoses of existence."

A versatile artist combining painting, sculpture, and graphics. His work is based on the synergy of monumental forms and expressive plasticity. Exploring the boundaries between figurative and abstract, the author transforms philosophical reflections on existence into powerful visual images. His style is an intellectual dialogue with matter, where volume and color create a new emotional reality.
Oleg Davydenko is a versatile artist whose creative strategy is based on the synergy of painting, graphics, and sculpture. His journey is marked by an intellectual approach where sculptural practice takes center stage as a tool for exploring physical space and volume. Working with materials like chamotte, expanded clay concrete, and bronze, Davydenko creates forms that balance archaic monumentality with modern expression. His projects, such as the "Action" and "The Tin" series, demonstrate his ability to transform solid matter into dynamic visual imagery. Through his Gaude Polonia residency and participation in prestigious fairs like Art Paris and Rhy Art Fair Basel, Davydenko has developed a signature style where volume and color exist in inseparable unity. The artist's works are held in collections in Ukraine, the USA, Japan, and Europe, confirming his status as one of the most multifaceted masters of contemporary Ukrainian art.
